Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets haddock 6 ounces each
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C). Tip: A very hot oven creates a crisp, golden crust.
  2. Place haddock fillets in a shallow dish and pour milk over them, allowing them to soak briefly.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush fillets with melted butter, then press each into the breadcrumb mixture, coating well.
  5. Arrange the coated fillets on a lightly greased baking sheet or dish.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes, or until the haddock flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, or steamed veggies for a balanced dinner.
