- Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C). Tip: A very hot oven creates a crisp, golden crust.
- Place haddock fillets in a shallow dish and pour milk over them, allowing them to soak briefly.
- In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Brush fillets with melted butter, then press each into the breadcrumb mixture, coating well.
- Arrange the coated fillets on a lightly greased baking sheet or dish.
- Bake 12–15 minutes, or until the haddock flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, or steamed veggies for a balanced dinner.
