  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar optional, for sweet crepes

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients in one place to streamline your cooking process.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy.
  3. Gradually add flour and milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
  4. Stir in melted butter and a pinch of salt (and sugar if desired) until the batter is silky-smooth.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  6. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan, tilting to form a thin, even layer.
  7. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the edges lift and the bottom is golden. Flip and cook another 30 seconds.
  8. Transfer crepes to a warm plate and repeat with the remaining batter.
