Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 4 frankfurters hot dogs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 16-ounce can pork and beans
  • 1 16-ounce can baked beans
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté chopped onion until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add sliced franks to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring to combine flavors.
  4. Stir in pork and beans, baked beans, brown sugar, and mustard. Mix until well blended.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 2-quart baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned on top.
  7. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
