Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté chopped onion until translucent (about 5 minutes).
- Add sliced franks to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring to combine flavors.
- Stir in pork and beans, baked beans, brown sugar, and mustard. Mix until well blended.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 2-quart baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned on top.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
