- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Cut each potato’s foil square in half, brush the potato with garlic butter, then place it on a foil piece. Turn the potato to coat fully, sprinkle with a pinch of salt, then wrap tightly.
- Arrange the foil-wrapped potatoes on a baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a fork slides in easily and skins are crisp.
- Let potatoes rest for 5 minutes before unwrapping. Garnish with chopped parsley and an extra pat of butter if desired.
