  • 6 cups baking mix such as Bisquick®
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the baking mix, ground sausage, and Cheddar cheese. Use your hands or a sturdy spoon to mix until a uniform dough forms.
  3. Pinch off walnut-sized portions of the dough and roll into balls. Place them about 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and baked through.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm for best flavor!
