Brazilian Lemonade

This Brazilian lemonade recipe actually uses limes and gets additional sweetness from sweetened condensed milk. Serve over ice for a refreshing treat!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 limes washed and quartered
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 4 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 –2 tablespoons granulated sugar optional

Method
 

  1. Wash limes thoroughly. Cut off the ends and slice into eight wedges.
  2. Remove seeds to prevent any bitter bites.
  3. In a blender, combine lime wedges, sweetened condensed milk, and water.
  4. Pulse blend 4–5 times until fragrant—avoid overblending to keep the texture smooth.
  5. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding solids.
  6. Fill glasses with ice. Pour the lemonade and garnish with lime wheels.
  7. Optional: Stir in sugar to taste for extra sweetness.
