- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and blanch for 2–3 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
- Drain beans and immediately plunge into an ice water bath to stop cooking. Drain again and pat dry.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it foams and starts to turn golden.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the green beans to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the garlic butter sauce.
- Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beans are heated through and have a slight sear.
- Season with salt and pepper, toss again, and remove from heat.
- Serve immediately as a vibrant, healthy side dish.
