Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar on medium speed until light, about 3 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt; add to butter mixture until just combined.
- Fold in 1 cup mini M&M’s; transfer half the dough to pan and press into a layer.
- Drizzle half the caramel, top with remaining dough, swirl in remaining caramel, and sprinkle with the rest of the M&M’s.
- Bake 20–22 minutes, cool completely, then chill before slicing into bars.
