Ingredients

  • 1 all-beef hot dog
  • 1 poppy seed hot dog bun
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sweet neon green relish
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped white onion
  • 2 tomato wedges
  • 1 dill pickle spear
  • 2 sport peppers
  • A dash of celery salt

Method

  1. Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to low, add the all-beef hot dog, and simmer until warmed through, about 5 minutes.
  3. While it cooks, toast the poppy seed bun until just golden—this is key for that authentic texture.
  4. Remove the hot dog and place it gently into the toasted bun.
  5. Layer on mustard, relish, chopped onion, tomato wedges, pickle spear, and top with sport peppers.
  6. Finish with a generous sprinkle of celery salt. Serve immediately and enjoy!
