Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease them.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine room temperature sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, biscuit mix, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Mix everything together using your hands until thoroughly combined. The mixture will be crumbly at first but will come together as you work it.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls (about the size of a golf ball) and place them about 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
- If desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
