Ingredients
  

  • 1 3.4 ounce package instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 8 ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pistachio pudding mix and the undrained crushed pineapple. Stir until the pudding mix is completely dissolved.
  2. Fold in the miniature marshmallows and chopped walnuts, distributing them evenly throughout the mixture.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well incorporated and no streaks remain.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend and the salad to set properly.
  5. Serve chilled, garnished with additional chopped walnuts and a maraschino cherry if desired.
