Method
- In a small bowl, stir the gelatin into the hot water. Let it bloom for about 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile, pour the brewed coffee into a saucepan and warm gently over low heat.
- Add the sugar to the warm coffee and stir until fully dissolved. Remove from heat.
- Whisk the bloomed gelatin into the coffee mixture until completely incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or individual molds. Allow it to cool slightly at room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or until the jelly is fully set.
- Cut the chilled jelly into cubes and serve in bowls. Top with whipped cream or a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk if desired.
