Ingredients

  • 6 ears fresh corn husks removed
  • 2 tablespoons cooking spray
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro or parsley for garnish optional

Method

  1. Preheat your outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly coat the grates with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, a pinch of salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Brush each ear of corn generously with cooking spray. Then spread the spicy garlic butter all over, ensuring even coverage.
  4. Place the corn directly on the grill. Cook for about 10–12 minutes, turning every 2–3 minutes until kernels are tender and lightly charred.
  5. Remove the corn from the grill, brush with any remaining spicy garlic butter, and garnish with chopped cilantro for a burst of freshness.
