Crab Rangoon

Make this favorite crab Rangoon appetizer at home. Wonton wrappers are filled with cream cheese and crab to make these crispy little baked treats.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup crab meat cooked and shredded
  • 2 tablespoons green onions finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, soy sauce, and garlic powder until smooth and well combined.
  3. Place 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, then fold into a triangle or purse shape, pressing to seal.
  4. Arrange filled wontons on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray for optimal crispness.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crunchy around the edges.
  6. Serve warm, alongside sweet chili sauce or soy-based dipping sauce for an extra flavor kick.
