Method
- Gather all ingredients and measure out your olive oil, garlic, cream, and cheese.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente, following package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant and golden.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring frequently. Allow the sauce to simmer gently for 2–3 minutes, letting it thicken.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Plate the pasta, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
