Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets lightly steamed
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup crushed butter crackers or panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the shredded chicken and lightly steamed broccoli florets.
  4. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese, saving the remaining 1/2 cup for topping.
  5. Transfer the mixture into your prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the crushed crackers or breadcrumbs with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese over the casserole, then top with the buttered cracker mixture.
  8. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until the casserole is bubbling and the top is golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
