- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Meanwhile, brush the buns lightly with melted butter or olive oil.
- Place buns in the air fryer, cut-side up, and toast for 2 minutes until lightly golden. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
- Score each hot dog with shallow diagonal slits to encourage even crisping.
- Arrange the hot dogs in a single layer in the basket. Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 4 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for uniform browning.
- Nestle the hot dogs into the toasted buns and pile on your favorite condiments.
