Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This step is crucial for achieving crispy skin.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Add the dried chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they're evenly coated with the oil and spice mixture.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they aren't touching.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then carefully flip each wing using tongs.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for 2-3 minutes at the end of the cooking time.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
