Method
- Wash strawberries gently under cool water and pat completely dry with paper towels.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until completely melted and smooth.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted chocolate, rotating to coat about ¾ of the berry.
- Gently shake off excess chocolate and place on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If adding toppings, sprinkle them on immediately while the chocolate is still wet.
- Place the dipped strawberries in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes until the chocolate is set.
