Ingredients
  

  • 2 21 ounce cans apple pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 ounces
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Pour both cans of apple pie filling into the prepared dish, spreading evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the apples in an even layer.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter all over the top, ensuring small pockets of butter create a golden crust.
  5. Bake for 55–60 minutes, until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving. For extra indulgence, top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
