  • 1 pound boneless chicken tenders
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat eggs in a second bowl until smooth.
  4. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  5. Working one tender at a time, dredge it in the seasoned flour, dip into the beaten eggs, then press into panko crumbs until fully coated.
  6. Arrange breaded tenders on the prepared sheet. Lightly mist the tops with cooking spray for extra crunch.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until tenders are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  8. Allow to rest 2 minutes, then garnish with parsley if desired.
