- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and mirin. Stir until sugar dissolves completely.
- Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful bulgogi marinade.
- Place the sliced beef in the bowl, ensuring each piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results).
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil if needed.
- Stir-fry the beef in batches, cooking 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized.
- In the last minute, add onions, carrots, and green onions. Toss until veggies are slightly tender.
- Transfer to a platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
