- Gather all ingredients and measure precisely.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar and butter. Stir continuously until the butter melts and the mixture is smooth.
- Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Continue to cook for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
