- Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, swirling to coat the surface.
- Pour in the beaten eggs and gently scramble until just set. Transfer eggs to a plate and set aside.
- Add the remaining oil to the wok. Stir in onion and green beans; sauté for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Push vegetables to one side. Add rice and sprinkle garlic powder. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Return scrambled eggs to the wok. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions.
- Serve hot and enjoy your homemade egg fried rice.
