Easy Egg Fried Rice

A quick and flavorful egg fried rice recipe made with pantry staples like instant rice, green beans, onions, and soy sauce. Perfect for a weeknight stir-fry.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked instant rice
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup green beans trimmed and cut
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions sliced

Method
 

  1. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, swirling to coat the surface.
  2. Pour in the beaten eggs and gently scramble until just set. Transfer eggs to a plate and set aside.
  3. Add the remaining oil to the wok. Stir in onion and green beans; sauté for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  4. Push vegetables to one side. Add rice and sprinkle garlic powder. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Return scrambled eggs to the wok. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade egg fried rice.
