- Pour 1-inch-deep oil into a heavy pan; heat to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
- In another bowl, beat both eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and frothy.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until you have a pourable batter—similar to pancake batter.
- Fit a funnel or a squeeze bottle with a wide tip. Pour batter in a circular motion into the hot oil, forming a web-like pattern.
- Fry for about 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Use tongs or a slotted spatula to carefully flip.
- Drain on paper towels, then immediately dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
