An easy pizza crust recipe that will hold all your favorite toppings is simple to make with basic pantry ingredients like yeast, flour, vegetable oil, sugar, and salt.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup warm water 110°F/45°C
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour plus extra for dusting
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, stir warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy and fragrant.
  2. Add flour, vegetable oil, and salt. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover with a clean towel or plastic wrap. Let it rest 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and lightly grease a pizza pan. Roll or press dough to fit the pan.
  6. Top with sauce, cheese, and favorite toppings. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
