Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the sesame seeds evenly on the baking sheet and toast for 8–10 minutes, stirring halfway until fragrant.
- Transfer seeds to a plate and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Place toasted seeds in a food processor and pulse until crumbly. Then process continuously, scraping sides, until smooth and creamy.
- Add 1–2 teaspoons of neutral oil if needed to adjust consistency. Season with salt if desired.
