- Gather all ingredients and preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Lightly brush each tortilla with oil on both sides to ensure a golden, crispy finish.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet. Sprinkle a layer of cheese, arrange avocado slices, and drizzle hot sauce. Top with more cheese.
- Cover with a second tortilla, press gently, and cook until golden and cheese begins to melt, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Transfer to a cutting board and slice into wedges. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
- Arrange quesadilla triangles on a platter, garnish with cilantro, and serve hot with sour cream and lime wedges.
