- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then whisk in the milk and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined—the batter should be slightly lumpy.
- Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
- Use a ¼-cup measuring cup to pour batter onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2 minutes.
- Flip pancakes and cook for another 1–2 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve hot with butter, maple syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream. Enjoy every fluffy bite!
