- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Place flour in a shallow bowl. In a second bowl, beat eggs until smooth. In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each cheese stick in flour, tapping off excess.
- Dip floured sticks into the beaten eggs, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture to fully coat.
- Arrange coated sticks on the prepared sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes to prevent cheese leakage.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry frozen sticks in batches for 2–3 minutes, turning once, until golden brown.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with marinara or ranch dipping sauce.
