- Gather everything: Measure out peanut butter, jelly, and butter. Lay out your bread on a clean surface.
- Spread spreads: Evenly coat one slice with peanut butter, and the other with jelly.
- Butter up: Spread softened butter on the outside faces of both bread slices.
- Heat it up: Warm a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Grill to golden: Place the sandwich butter-side down and grill for 2–3 minutes until the bread is crispy and browned.
- Flip and finish: Carefully flip the sandwich and grill another 2–3 minutes until both sides are golden and the filling is melted.
- Slice and serve: Remove from heat, cut diagonally, and enjoy while warm and gooey.
