Ingredients
  

  • 1 8 ounce container Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 3.5 ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar optional, for extra sweetness

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk. Whisk together for about 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.
  2. Let the pudding mixture stand for 5 minutes to fully set and thicken.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip using a rubber spatula, being careful not to deflate the mixture.
  4. Add vanilla extract and optional powdered sugar if you prefer a sweeter frosting.
  5. Continue folding until completely combined and no streaks remain.
  6. Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 hour before frosting your dessert.
