Method
- Gather your ingredients. Measure out your white sugar and molasses.
- Place the white sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Pour the molasses over the sugar.
- Using an electric mixer on low speed, beat the mixture until the molasses is completely incorporated into the sugar and no white grains remain visible. This usually takes 3-5 minutes.
- Check consistency. The finished brown sugar should be uniformly colored and slightly moist.
