Ingredients
Method
- Place milk, eggs, margarine, flour, salt, white sugar, and yeast in the bread machine pan in the order recommended by your machine's manufacturer. Select the dough cycle and press Start.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- After the dough cycle completes, turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Roll into a 16x21-inch rectangle about ¼-inch thick.
- Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture, leaving a ½-inch border around the edges.
- Starting at the longer side, roll up the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 even slices using a sharp knife or unflavored dental floss.
- Place rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place until nearly doubled in size, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Bake rolls in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While rolls are baking, beat together cream cheese, butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and creamy.
- Spread frosting on rolls while they are still warm (but not hot) for that classic melty Cinnabon-style topping.
