- Wash the oranges thoroughly under cool running water to remove any dirt, pesticides, or wax.
- Roll each orange firmly on the countertop using the palm of your hand. This breaks down some of the membranes inside and makes the juice easier to extract.
- Cut each orange in half across the equator (not through the stem).
- Using your juicer or reamer, extract the juice from each orange half. Apply firm, even pressure to get the most juice.
- If you prefer pulp-free juice, pour through a fine mesh strainer to remove solids.
