Homemade Irish Cream

This homemade Irish cream recipe makes a lovely liqueur with Irish whiskey, cream, and sugar with hints of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and almond.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup Irish whiskey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract

Method
 

  1. Combine the sweetened condensed milk, Irish whiskey, and heavy cream in a high-speed blender.
  2. Add chocolate syrup, instant coffee granules, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  3. Blend on high for 20–30 seconds until the mixture is perfectly smooth and velvety.
  4. Pour into a sealed bottle or jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
  5. Serve your homemade Irish cream chilled over ice, stirred into coffee, or mixed into your favorite dessert cocktails.
