Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground annatto achiote powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon dried Mexican oregano
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Gather all your spices: coriander, cumin, garlic powder, annatto, salt, turmeric, oregano, and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine each ingredient thoroughly until the color turns a vibrant orange-yellow.
  3. Transfer the blend to an airtight container to preserve freshness and aroma.
  4. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
