Ingredients
Method
- Gather all your ingredients and measuring tools before starting.
- In a medium saucepan, pour in the tomato sauce and water.
- Add the white vinegar to the mixture and stir well to combine.
- Add all dry spices (cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and oregano).
- Sprinkle in the brown sugar and salt.
- Whisk everything together until thoroughly combined.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before using.
- For the best flavor development, transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before using.
