Method
- Gather all ingredients and pat the chicken thighs dry.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Season thighs with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a hot cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken thighs, skin-side down, for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Flip and cook 3 more minutes.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, spooning the glaze over the thighs, for 8–10 minutes.
- Once the internal temperature hits 165°F, remove from heat. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for an extra pop of flavor.
