Ingredients

  • 8 5 ounce boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  1. Gather all ingredients and pat the chicken thighs dry.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Season thighs with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a hot cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken thighs, skin-side down, for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Flip and cook 3 more minutes.
  5. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, spooning the glaze over the thighs, for 8–10 minutes.
  6. Once the internal temperature hits 165°F, remove from heat. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for an extra pop of flavor.
