Ingredients
  

  • 4 skinless boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce low-sodium preferred
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients and lightly grease the bowl of your slow cooker.
  2. Arrange chicken thighs in a single layer at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, onion powder, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the chicken, coating each piece evenly.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours (or HIGH for 2–3 hours) until chicken is fork-tender.
  6. For a thicker glaze, remove the chicken, simmer the sauce on the stovetop until reduced, then toss chicken back in.
  7. Serve hot over rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds.
