Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 ounce can refried beans
  • 1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ½ cup salsa verde
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, salsa verde, cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Transfer the bean mixture to an oven-safe baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the top.
  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve hot with tortilla chips, fresh veggies, or warm pita wedges.
