  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips or chunks

Method
 

  1. Heat-treat the flour: Spread flour on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes until it reaches 165°F. Allow to cool completely before using.
