- In a large pot, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, and miso paste. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer for 60 minutes, tasting and adjusting seasoning as needed.
- In a separate pot, cook ramen noodles according to package instructions (3-4 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
- Prepare toppings: slice soft-boiled eggs, green onions, mushrooms, and nori sheets. Arrange on a plate for easy assembly.
- Assemble bowls: place noodles at the bottom of each bowl, ladle hot broth over, then arrange toppings such as eggs, mushrooms, green onions, nori, and bean sprouts.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and a few drops of sesame oil. Serve immediately with chopsticks and a soup spoon.
