- Gather all ingredients and measure out quantities.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add gochujang, grated ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Whisk to blend flavors.
- Bring mixture to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
