Ingredients
Method
- Gather all ingredients and equipment.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Place the flank steak in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well-coated. Seal or cover, then refrigerate.
- Let the steak marinate for at least 2 hours, or up to 8 hours for maximum flavor and tenderness.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F). Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Remove the steak from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Place on the grill and cook for 5–7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
- Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let rest for 10 minutes to lock in juices.
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain and serve.
