- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat until it’s fully liquid.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until they’re completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and immediately fold in the crispy rice cereal until every flake is coated in marshmallow.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch pan. Use a buttered spatula or parchment paper to press it evenly into the pan.
- Let cool for at least 10 minutes, then cut into 24 squares. Serve & enjoy your homemade rice krispie treats!
