Marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats

These squidgy crispy rice treats are made with just 3 ingredients: mini marshmallows, crispy rice cereal, and butter for kid-pleasing, no-bake cookies!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal

Method
 

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat until it’s fully liquid.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until they’re completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and immediately fold in the crispy rice cereal until every flake is coated in marshmallow.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch pan. Use a buttered spatula or parchment paper to press it evenly into the pan.
  5. Let cool for at least 10 minutes, then cut into 24 squares. Serve & enjoy your homemade rice krispie treats!
