- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition to create a glossy batter.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined—don’t overmix!
- Fold in chopped walnuts for extra crunch, if desired.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into 16 squares.
