- Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy skillet to 375°F (190°C). Maintain this temperature for crisp results.
- Drop tablespoons of batter into the hot oil, working in batches to avoid crowding.
- Fry each fritter for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
