- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt until evenly combined.
- Add the olive oil and warm water. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Knead a few times until it comes together into a smooth ball—about 1 minute.
- Press the dough directly into the prepared pan, stretching it to the edges. If it resists, let it rest 2 minutes and try again.
- Top with your favorite sauce, cheese, and toppings. Keep the layer of toppings light for a crispy base.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
