- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until combined.
- Pour in the milk and add the egg; stir until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
- Fold in the melted butter, mixing gently to keep the batter light and airy.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
- Pour ΒΌ cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2 minutes.
- Flip carefully and cook the other side until golden brown, another 1β2 minutes.
- Transfer pancakes to a plate and repeat until all batter is used.
